PPWR Article 6: Recyclable packaging

What it requires
Art. 6(1), all packaging placed on the market shall be recyclable, has no separate application date and so applies from August 12, 2026. Art. 6(2)(a), the design-for-recycling criteria, and Art. 6(3), the A, B, C performance grades, apply from January 1, 2030, or 24 months after the Art. 6(4) delegated acts enter into force, whichever is the latest. That act is due by January 1, 2028.
