What it requires
The declaration states that the requirements in or pursuant to Articles 5 to 12 have been met. It follows the model structure in Annex VIII, contains the elements of the Annex VII module, and must be kept continuously updated. It is drawn up in or translated into a language required by the member state where the packaging is placed or made available. Where more than one Union act requires a declaration, a single combined declaration may be used. It is held on file for market surveillance, not filed with any central portal.
