PPWR Annex VII: Conformity assessment procedure, Module A

Annex VII of Regulation (EU) 2025/40, the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

What it requires

Internal production control. The manufacturer establishes technical documentation that makes it possible to assess conformity with the applicable requirements, including an adequate analysis and assessment of the risks of non-conformity, takes the measures needed to keep the manufacturing process conforming, and declares on its sole responsibility that the packaging satisfies Articles 5 to 12. This is the module the Art. 39 declaration references.

Article 14 also requires that an environmental claim about a regulated packaging property be shown to comply in this technical documentation. See Article 14, environmental claims.
