Ecoembes implementing PPWR-aligned eco-modulation from 2026, technical criteria per RD 1055/2022. Ecoembes has already published its 2027 Punto Verde schedule, unusually early: PET beverage bottles up to 3L at 0.278 EUR/kg, PET trays and other rigid at 0.682, flexible film at 1.269, paper and cardboard at 0.117, beverage cartons at 0.544, steel at 0.197, aluminium at 0.040 [LOCKED, Ecoembes 2027 price sheet]. Glass is Ecovidrio, not Ecoembes. Envalora covers industrial and commercial packaging separately.
Spain has its own DRS mandate: RD 1055/2022 requires launch by November 2026 (trigger confirmed November 2024), but operator authorization stalled at regional level through July 2026 and slippage is widely reported [SIGNALED]. No PPWR-specific national implementing measures enacted; Ley de Residuos 7/2022 remains the baseline national packaging law.
