How Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) applies in Netherlands: the national extended producer responsibility (EPR) scheme, small-producer thresholds, eco-modulation, and deposit return system status. PPWR is directly applicable in Netherlands from August 12, 2026.

Most generous SME threshold of the 7 deep markets. DRS-eligible formats require deposit marking regardless of EPR exemption status. ILT (Netherlands Inspectorate) is enforcement authority.
